5th Annual Empire Market Chili Cookoff

The Joplin Empire Market and the Downtown Joplin Alliance will be hosting the 5th Annual Empire Market Chili Cookoff at the Market on January 20!
Awards will be given for 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place, as well as People’s Choice and an All Market Chili award.
Judging begins at 10:30am and public tasting is from 10:30am-2pm (or when the chili runs out!).

Admission into the tasting hall will be $5 – this grants access to taste all chili and vote in the People’s Choice. You can prepay or buy a tasting ticket at the door. All proceeds will support the Newton Community Kitchen!
