Fall Volunteer Expo

If you want to get involved in your downtown community, but aren’t quite sure where to start, then our Volunteer Expo is for you! Come join a group of like-minded people and learn how to use your skills to make Joplin a better place to be. This expo will be a low-stakes night for you to discover some of the programs that Downtown Joplin Alliance offers and how you can make them them better. **Plus, enjoy a cookout under the stars, with delicious food courtesy of Purple Chin Condiment Co!*

The Format:
*Introduction to Downtown Joplin Alliance (our Mission, our Strategies, our Board, etc…)
*Introduction to the Main Street Method and the 4 Points (Economic Vitality, Design, Promotions, Organization)
*Introduction to Empire Market Programming
*Breakout Tables–Explore all the programming options that Downtown Joplin offers: Clean Team; Empire Market; Downtown Now; Third Thursday; Market Gardens; Endangered Properties Program; WineShare; Downtown Holiday Experience; and more!
*…and did we mention the food???
