Jonny Wood will liven the market sounds from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on the cafe stage. Jonny Wood is a folksinger from Joplin, MO. He sings old time folk songs on the guitar, banjo, and harmonica. Jonny has been a part of the Joplin music scene for the past 15 years and has performed in various venues across the 4-state area! If you enjoy toe tapping songs on the banjo and guitar, or heartfelt hymns belted to the rafters, come on down friends!

You will find the Kids Market setup in the courtyard with 10-20 youth entrepreneurs selling baked goods and hand crafted items.

Visit the Community Garden and enjoy Harvest Fest activities like pumpkin ring toss, pumpkin tick tack toe, a Harvest Fest photo booth, and drop your name in to win the Greenhouse. Live music in the garden with Andrew Pommert and a special visit from Tortellini the Tortoise.

The Empire Market is a four-season city market that combines farm fresh goodness, hand-crafted products, community gardens and local gourmet food, all in one location that is easily accessible to the Joplin community. Customers can shop for their weekly groceries, find unique gifts, enjoy live music and a meal, all within the market’s laid back atmosphere. Open 10am-2pm, every Saturday.
