Joplin Arts Fest is pleased to welcome mixed media artist Brenda Pryor to our 10th Anniversary show at the Cornell Complex. Find her on the Leggett & Platt Green this coming Friday and Saturday, September 20 & 21!
“My abstract mixed media pieces remind me of our lives, with the experiences of our pasts shaping who we are today. I begin with a prayer written in graphite over the canvas, then create mystery in my layers of acrylics, fiber, vintage books, buttons, words and quirky finds. Texture is created throughout with various tools and/or mediums.”
